In line with the policies of AERI to transfer results and achievements of participating in international training courses, conferences, symposiums, etc, Dr. Homa Behmadi, Academic Member and Deputy Director of Food Engineering and Post-Harvest Technologies Dept., introduced the International Symposium on the Practice and Benefits of Circular Agriculture in Waste Reducing and Recycling.
The mentioned symposium was held online and on-site on November, 5-6, 2020 with the participation of the Food and Fertilizer Technology Center (FTTC) and the Livestock Research Institute (TLRI) of Taiwan.
14 speakers and four panelists from Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam shared their knowledge and experiences on the Agri food losses, wastes, and innovative technologies for the reuse, recycling and value addition of agricultural wastes and residuals in a circular Agriculture system.
